Recently, a study published by Professor Ethan Russo analyzed the effects of cannabigerol (CBG) on anxiety, stress and mood¹. The study was double-blind and placebo controlled. In this study, 34 patients, healthy volunteers, received 20 mg of cannabigerol or placebo and underwent stress and anxiety tests. In relation to placebo, the group that used cannabigerol had a statistically significant reduction in anxiety and stress. CBG also improved verbal memory when compared to placebo and there were no reports of memory impairment. This study corroborates the first evidence that suggested the anxiety-reducing effect of CBG. Cannabigerol is a partial agonist of the CB1 receptor and a potent agonist of the CB2 receptor, also promoting analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

3iPharma has Broad Spectrum cannabis extract, “Performance”, in its product line, containing cannabidiol and cannabigerol, in a 1:1 ratio (1500:1500 mg). Request a technical visit for more information.
